A week ago today my Mom came to visit from Texas. She just left on Tuesday & it already seems like too long since we've seen her! We had a wonderful time & squeezed in so much! On Friday Chris & Mom went to the school to have lunch w/ Gracie & let Mom see her new school. I stayed home w/ Hayden because he had
MRSA Staph infection on his leg....again!

Gracie wanted Mom & Chris to come back to her room & watch her do Math. She is quite proud of her Math book this year.

Mom helped me so much while she was here. We had to convert the guest room into the beginnings of a nursery & it was a lot of work! I had a bedroom suit in there & used the closet & drawers for storage for old tax stuff, kid's off-season clothes, & tons of junk! So, we had to clean all that out, remove a wallpaper border, move
stuff around from room to room & re-organize. I am so thankful she
was here to help me do all that!!!

The whole family pitched in!

Saturday morning Mom, Gracie, & I went to a baby shower.

Then, Mom & I went shopping. She got this new toy chest for Hayden's room. She also got me stuff for the nursery & the baby & decor for Hayden's room while she was here. She really spoiled us!

Sunday we were going to have a family party @ our house to celebrate Gracie's b-day while Mom was here. Since Hayden had
MRSA, no one wanted to come to the house. So, we took the party to Olive Garden, Gracie's
favorite restaurant. Hayden had been on
antibiotics for several days @ that point & could leave the house with his
wound covered & not infect anyone. Gracie wanted pics of herself with everyone in the family.

With all her loot.

Opening presents after dinner!

On the way home in the car that night someone said something funny that made Mom laugh. Hayden turned to her and said, as serious as could be, "Laugh it up fuzzball!" We all burst out laughing & I asked where in the world
did he hear that from? He is
obsessed with Star Wars & he & Chris love to watch it together. Evidently that's a line from Star Wars that he picked up. Hilarious!

Speaking of Star Wars, Chris made this Hans Solo gun & some star ship (I don't
know all the names) for Hayden out of cardboard & boxes. He loves them & thinks Dad is the greatest. So do I. ~wink~

I went to the Dr yesterday and am doing well @ 24 weeks. The weekly
progesterone shots are a God-send! We all miss Nana & will be posting soon about our little Gracie turning 7 this week!
